Baryte cast after Calcite     Rock Island Road Cut, Gouverneur, St. Lawrence County, New York, collected 2013. Collected by Michael Walter, October 20th, 2013. This large cast has a nice luster and only minor edge contact. Domical form allows it to sit well and display from any side. This specimen is from a single, large, cave-like pocket found in the Grenville marble.  It was well described in the Mineral News, vol. 29, Issue 10, October 2013, p. 1-10  by Dr. Steve Chamberlain.  5.5 x 3.8 3.1 cm. $35
