Baryte Rock Island Road Cut, Gouverneur, St. Lawrence County, New York, collected 2013. Collected by Michael Walter, October 20th, 2013. A very bright, high luster example in a piece that displays as a floater though it has a very small area of contact. No damage. This specimen is from a single, large, cave-like pocket found in the Grenville marble. It was well described in the Mineral News, vol. 29, Issue 10, October 2013, p. 1-10 by Dr. Steve Chamberlain. This specimen exhibits nice waves of large crystals for the find. 3.5 x 2.6 x 1.5 cm. $45
