Babingtonite with Prehinte   Cheapside Quarry, 1978 Pocket, Deerfield, Franklin County, Massachusetts.  This fine east coast classic measures 10.2 x 7 x 4.2 with crystals to 1.3 cm each.  A very fine display of damage-free crystals of high luster and excellent form compose the specimen.  Photos do little to show the exceptional qualities of this fine babingtonite.  Some edge contacts as would be expected on a largish matrix specimen such as this.  This material is uncommon and coveted by collectors interested in important American minerals.  $2,796
