Azurite with Malachite Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Mun. de Santa Cruz, Sonora, Mexico. 2013 Pocket. Of all the material produced in this important find I believe this pocket has produced the finest quality of specimens discovered at Milpillas. The luster and rich blue color is the finest known for azurite, only surpassed by the great material from Tsumeb and perhaps some of the finest Moroccan specimens. I was able to hand pick these and was thrilled at their quality and the price. These are among the nicest azurite specimen I have offered in many years. Without argument these will soon become modern day classics. This is a large single crystal with minor blades of azurite and some malachite alteration. Good views all around, nice luster and only base and minor attachment on one side. Minor chipping but in very nice shape overall. 3.9 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm. $180
