Azurite with Malachite    Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Mun. de Santa Cruz, Sonora, Mexico.  2013 Pocket.  Of all the material produced in this important find I believe this pocket has produced the finest quality of specimens discovered at Milpillas.  The luster and rich blue color is the finest known for azurite, only surpassed by the great material from Tsumeb and perhaps some of the finest Moroccan specimens.  I was able to hand pick the few and was thrilled at their quality and the price.  These are among the nicest azurite specimens I have offered in many years.  Without argument these will soon become modern day classics.  This large miniature sized specimen measures 4.6 x 4.2 x 2 cm and has double terminated crystals to 2 cm each and mounds of bright green malachite.  The backside is fully crystallized too but these have a slightly lower luster.  No damage.  $175
