Azurite Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Mun. de Santa Cruz, Sonora, Mexico. 2013 Pocket. Of all the material produced in this important find I believe this pocket has produced the finest quality of specimens discovered at Milpillas. The luster and rich blue color is the finest known for azurite, only surpassed by the great material from Tsumeb and perhaps some of the finest Moroccan specimens. I was able to hand pick the few I invested in this year at Tucson (2014) and was thrilled at their individual quality and the price. These are among the nicest TN sized specimen I have offered in several years. Without argument these will soon become modern day classics. Big crystals to 2 cm each make up this 3.6 x 2.6 x 2.2 cm specimen. Highest of luster, deepest of color. A couple of minor backside chips. $95
