Amphibole and Fluorapatite Bear Lake Diggings, Maddill Road, Tory Hill, Ontario, Canada. Collected by Michael Walter, 1990s. I believe this is the accurate amphibole name at this time. A decade ago these were being called fluor-magnesio-kataphotite. In any case these are usually large clunky things that have little to no luster. This one is an exceptional thumbnail sized piece that measures 2.9 x 2.4 x 2cm. It is a damage-free floater with excellent luster and form. The addition of the gemmy green fluorapatites is a nice addition. Truly exceptional for one of these specimens. $195
