Albite (var. Antiperthite) and Diopside with Calcite    "Lunch Break Pocket", Rose Road Wollastonite Occurrence, Pitcairn, St. Lawrence County, New York.  Collected by Michael and Jay Walter, 2006.  This fine example measures 6 x 4.8 x 2.7 cm and has feldspears to 1.7 cm each.  Both the albite and diopsides are clean and glassy.  This wall rock plate has one of the rare Manabach twins with a small doubly-terminated diopside on it (seen in the close-up image).  The twinning can be recognized by the visible twin plane.  No damage.  $150
