Betafite    Silver Crater Mine, near Bancroft, Ontario, Canada.  Ex. John Davis collection.  John field collected these crystals long ago when they were being found loose in the soil.  They are slightly radioactive and fine examples rarely seen in available in today's mineral market.  This one measures 2 x 1.5 x 1.2 cm and is a floater with one larger dominant crystal and small rider crystals on a couple of sides.  It has nice crisp form and shows one very, almost invisible, tiny chip on its base.  $65
